Spirit Way has become Thompson’s award-winning tourism attraction and community pride project. It is a 2 km walkway with 16 Points of Interest that highlight wonderful aspects of Thompson — from environmental to heritage, culture, art, geology, and industry.

Friends of Spirit Way are supporters and volunteers who are proud of Thompson and want to make a positive difference. Their purpose is to maintain and enhance the Spirit Way walkway and sites, to generate positive media attention and act as Thompson Ambassadors. They are recognized with a customized lapel pin and certificate. The ultimate goal is to enhance community pride and make Thompson a better place to live, work, and play. They have fun in their friendships and good work.
