ROAD
Highway 6 connects Winnipeg to Thompson by a good paved highway over 485 miles. It takes about 8.5 hours of driving time. Small towns and gas stations are available every 100 miles or so on route.
BUS
Greyhound Bus connects Winnipeg to Thompson daily. www.greyhound.ca
Are you interested in taking a Greyhound charter bus from Winnipeg Airport to Thompson on October 22 and returning on October 25, 2012? If so, express your interest by emailing to - [email protected]. On September 4th or earlier, we will confirm charter on this page. Minimum of 30 passengers are needed. Travel time is approximately 9 hours. Cost would be $189 for return trip.
