A Community Setting for Weddings, Celebrations and Canada Day
A local rest stop and gathering for weddings and huge Canada Day celebrations. Watch for an active water fountain to come in the near future.
CELEBRATIONS are common at MacLean Park…from weddings to Canada Day festivities and National Aboriginal Day. There’s also skating and sliding in winter. And overhead, you can often watch fl oat planes zooming down to land on the nearby Burntwood River.

- MacLean Park was named after Don MacLean, mayor of Thompson from 1977 to 1991.
- MacLean Park is the gateway to the River Section of Spirit Way.
- Thompson’s best fi reworks show take place here every Canada Day, July 1st.
